SNGPL Issues Maintenance Alert for October 8
In a statement, the Northern Gas Pipelines Limited, Sui (SNGPL) has stated that the supply of gas in various parts of the Islamabad region, such as Hassan Abdal, will be suspended temporarily to perform maintenance work on her system as well as to relocate the gas pipeline. The scheduled outage will be on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, between 9.00 am and 6.00 pm which will be a total of nine hours.
The interruption is required according to an official statement issued by SNGPL, as the shifting of a Transmission and Distribution System (TBS) station. The temporary shutdown will enable the technical teams to perform necessary safety and pipeline repairs.
Areas Affected by the Gas Suspension
The firm established that the provision of gas will be suspended in several localities in Hassan Abdal and other surrounding locations of Islamabad.
