RDA Modernizes Property Management
The Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) has declared a new modernistic wave that is set to change the property management and documentation in the authority. Under the plan, the authority will use digital means of transfer of properties and ownership of units in approved multi storey projects within the city. The reforms are aimed at improving efficiency, eradicating corruption, and ensuring a sense of trust in the real estate industry of Rawalpindi by the population.
New Systems for Urban Transparency
The authority gave the green light to two major initiatives to make operations digital at a high-level meeting held under the chairmanship of RDA Director General Kinza Murtaza. The former is concerned with the simplification of the process of transferring residential apartments, commercial units, and condominiums in the projects that are approved by the RDA. The second proposes QR-coded allotment and transfer system of the plots of the private housing societies cleared by RDA. Both the initiatives are in line with the long-term vision of the authority to incorporate technology in the government and enhances service provision to the citizens.
Enhanced Security and Anti-Fraud Measures
According to the officials, the new systems would allow full traceable and tamper-proof property records. Every transfer or every allotment will produce a secure digital file that is coded by a distinct QR, and thus, the transactions can be verified fast by the buyers, sellers, and regulating bodies.
