Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced that they intends to host a historic T20I tri-series in November 2025 that will include Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. It will be the first-ever T20I tri-nation series to be hosted on Pakistani soil, and hence it will become part of the history of cricket in the country.
Tournament Details
The tri-series will be held between 17 and 29 November 2025 where the matches are planned in Rawalpindi and Lahore. Africa will play its first game against Pakistan on 17 November in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. This match is especially important because this is the first T20I match to be held on the territory of Afghanistan in the country, although they had earlier ODIs.
Match Schedule
The Sri Lanka-Afghanistan match will also feature in the Rawalpindi leg on 19 November, then the action will move to the legendary Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore. The Lahore fixtures shall feature five matches and the grand final of the tournament shall be held on 29 November.
