CEO Carl Pei has finally announced that the Nothing Phone (3) will be released in July 2025. After months of cryptic teasers and not-so-subtle reversals, the announcement has fans who’ve been waiting for the next-generation smartphone feeling jazzed.
Carl Pei had left several hints on social media—a post with the number ‘3’ was like the lit match on Tinder for enthusiasts. Many of us were pondering whether it meant Q3 2025 or July 3rd, but the newest confirmation will put you out of your misery—Nothing Phone (3) is going to make its debut this July.
Aesthetically, the Nothing Phone (3) will keep the company’s iconic transparent back design and Glyph Interface but with improved build quality. From the images, the body looks slimmer and the materials more delicate—the device feels and looks premium; certainly an upgrade from the previous model.
Performance: The new phone is also expected to have a significant chip upgrade. Leaks suggest the presence of a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or perhaps a Gen 8s chip, and that would put the Nothing Phone (3) in a place to be considered a proper flagship. That would be a big leap from the Nothing Phone (2), which could be purchased for $599, and included the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 underneath the hood.
Software will also be of the utmost importance in this year’s model. The company has allegedly refurbished its Nothing OS to provide a smoother, easier user experience. Carl Pei stressed that there’d be a big focus on software improvements, too, with the goal of increasing user interaction and response.
Although no pricing information is available, the Phone (3) ispricedd to maintain an affordable flagship trajectory, maybe in line with Phone (2)’siPhonel pricing. The imminent roll-out will be worldwide, with a presence in key territories including the UK, Europe and Asia.
