Des Pardes is a top-notch eatery in Islamabad, with a wide selection of hot and spicy cuisine. The menu at the restaurant is filled with plenty of dishes, mainly desi varieties with their own spicy mix of flavours.

The most thrilling dish is the Khadda lamb, made up of a whole lamb filled with aromatic rice and nuts and baked in a brick oven. Dumpukht, Peshawari Seekh / Chapli Kebab, Qandhari Barbecue Platter, Namkeen lamb karahi and the authentic Landi Kotal Karahi are other specialties.

About The Owner

A Pakistani-American entrepreneur and investor, Toquir Ahmed, involved with the hospitality / food industry in Pakistan called the Federal Revenue Board’s current tax system (FBR) a major obstacle for existing and new companies, indicating that taxpayers should be honored / recognized in order to boost the FBR’s revenue collection.

Notwithstanding all the challenges, his commitment to creating an excellent food outlet – Des Pardes – which offers the best facilities to its customers – both domestic and international – was not appreciated by the departments concerned, making tall claims to encourage the investors. He maintained that he had chosen to work in Pakistan rather than the United States and brought in small foreign investment in Pakistan at a time when it was most needed.

The owner and staff is accommodating and hospitable and their service is fast. Because within fifteen minutes of the order the piping hot food will reach your table.
