FBISE Islamabad will announce the 2nd annual exam results for Class 11 and 12 on January 7, 2026 at 11:00 am, with results available online, via SMS and gazette.
Result to Be Announced on January 7, 2026
The Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE), Islamabad has officially confirmed the result date for the second annual examinations of Intermediate. According to the board, the results for Class 11 and Class 12 second annual exams will be announced on Wednesday, 7 January 2026 at 11:00 am.
Thousands of students from across Pakistan and abroad, who appeared in these supplementary or second annual exams, are waiting for the announcement. For many candidates, this result is extremely important because it will decide their eligibility for university admissions, next class promotions and future study plans.
Why the Second Annual Result Is Important
The second annual or supplementary examinations are a key opportunity for students who could not clear one or more subjects in the main exams. A good performance in these papers allows them to improve their marks, save an academic year and stay on track with their batch.
For Class 12 students, the second annual result is especially critical because universities and professional colleges often require a complete Intermediate result for admission. A pass or improved grade in these exams can make the difference between securing a desired seat or having to wait another year. For Class 11 students, the result will shape their preparation strategy for the next year and help them identify subjects where they need extra focus.
How to Check FBISE Results Online
After the official announcement at 11:00 am, students will be able to check their detailed marks through the Federal Board’s official website. To view their result online, candidates will simply need to open the FBISE result page and enter their roll number in the given search box. In most cases, the system shows subject-wise marks, total marks and the overall grade or percentage.
Students are advised to keep their roll numbers ready before the result time to avoid delays. It is also a good idea to download or print a copy of the online result for personal record. However, the online marks sheet is usually considered provisional, and students should later collect their official result card from their college or institution once it is issued.
Checking Results by SMS and Gazette
Apart from the website, FBISE also provides an SMS service so students can access their result even if they do not have immediate internet connectivity. On the result day, the board activates a special SMS code. Students can send their roll number to this code and receive a brief result message on their mobile phone. This is particularly useful for students living in areas with slow internet or limited access to computers.
The board will also issue a complete result gazette for the second annual exams. The gazette can be downloaded in PDF format from the official FBISE website or accessed through affiliated institutions. Schools and colleges often use the gazette to review overall performance trends, check class results and verify individual entries where needed.
Use Only Official FBISE Platforms for Accurate Information
The Federal Board has advised students and parents to rely only on official FBISE platforms for result-related information. Unofficial websites, social media pages or random links can sometimes share incorrect data or mislead students with false claims about result dates and marks. To stay safe, students should always confirm news through FBISE’s own website or verified announcements.
If the website is slow due to heavy traffic at the time of the result, candidates are encouraged to stay patient, try again after a short interval or use the SMS service as a backup. By following the official methods and keeping calm, students can access their results smoothly and start planning their next academic steps with clarity.
