Dubai Police unveils 12 AI-powered projects at Gitex 2025, showcasing robotics, automation, and smart policing technologies for safer communities.
As part of Gitex Global 2025, Dubai Police has announced 12 innovative artificial intelligence (AI) and automation initiatives and reinforced its role as a smart policing and digital transformation institution on a global scale. The innovations were exhibited at the Dubai World Trade Centre which centered on improving the safety of the population, the efficiency of its activities, and engagement in community life with the help of the latest techniques.
These endeavors involve robotics, automation, and digital solutions to enhance the police roles, enhance response speed, and smoothly provide services to both residents and visitors. Since autonomous systems to AI-driven analytics, Dubai Police is still at the forefront of applying the latest technologies to allow building safer and smarter cities.
AI and Automation at the Core of Smart Policing
The Robotic Process Automation (RPA) system is one of the most significant programs that have been implemented. This new system is based on the use of software robots to process automated administrative functions, such as information input, document creation, and document management. According to the police representatives, the RPA works round the clock, which enhances productivity and reduces human error and lets the officers concentrate on more vital matters of law enforcement.
A representative of Dubai Police said that the RPA system is changing our back-end operations, making them accurate and productive 24/7. It is another step towards the full digitalization of the policing ecosystem in Dubai with AI.
Smart Police Stations and Digital Accessibility
It was also noted that Dubai Police has world-famous Smart Police Stations (SPS) that do not require human interaction and are open all day and night. There are more than 40 services that can be accessed by citizens and residents, among them being reporting crimes, paying fines, and demanding certificates, among others, but all of these are through automated systems.
The SPS has special accessibility provision to people of determination as well which makes it inclusive and equal to access services. Moreover, Dubai Police also presented its redesigned Smart App, which is now represented in seven languages, where users are now able to report traffic accidents, request emergency assistance, and access protection services to women and children.
In addition to these innovations, there is a new Dubai Police Web site, which combines safe payment methods, a streamlined interface, and Amina, an artificial intelligence-based virtual assistant to whom users can refer to when navigating online services with ease.
Drone Box System and Cybersecurity Awareness
One of the most important events of Gitex 2025 was the launch of Drone Box System which was intended to be used when an emergency occurred. Such drones send live images to the Command and Control Centre that significantly shortens the time needed to respond to crimes and traffic accidents.
Another initiative that was introduced by Dubai Police is the eCrime Hub which is a cybersecurity education network. In Arabic and English, the Hub contains video tutorials, safety manuals, and materials to enable the general population to identify phishing presence, report cybercrimes, and ensure their safety on the Internet.
Engaging Communities Through Innovation
To enhance the interest of the population, Dubai Police offered such events as the Dubai Police eSports Tournament and the forthcoming UAE SWAT Challenge 2026. The events also foster teamwork, cyber safety, and responsible digital behavior among the youth coupled with demonstrating the operational excellence of the force.
