The Capital Development Authority (CDA) has officially opened bids for the construction of the much-anticipated T-Chowk Flyover. Project Details and Timeline
The project entails the construction of a 570-meter-long flyover on GT Road, offering a direct interchange of traffic to the direction of Lahore to the Islamabad Expressway. There will also be the construction of a slip road to facilitate traffic that moves towards Lahore. Although the PC-1 has a completion timeline of five months, CDA officials are optimistic that the project may be completed in only three months, provided no problems arise during this period.
Expected Benefits for Motorists
Syed Nafasat Raza, a member of the Engineering team, dealt with the significance of the project, explaining that almost 100,000 motorists currently traverse the intersection each day.
