AirSial is adding a new weekly Islamabad–Sukkur route from 9 December, alongside new direct flights to Abu Dhabi from Lahore and Islamabad, expanding its domestic and international network.
New Route to Strengthen Domestic Connectivity
AirSial has also declared the opening of a new domestic flight between Islamabad and Sukkur every week as one of its measures to extend its network and offer an easy way of travelling to its passengers. It would commence service on 9 December to provide another direct connection between the north of Pakistan and the key commercial and agricultural area in Sindh.
The move is an indication of the increasing demand of air travel between big cities and the emerging regional hubs. To business travellers, government officials and families the new route will mean a lot of time saved when travelling compared to road and rail transport that may take many hours between the two cities.
Flight Schedule and Aircraft Details
The Islamabad-Sukkur service will be served by the airline on Tuesdays every week. PF152 is the flight that is going to leave Islamabad at 9:50 AM and arrive in Sukkur at 11:10 AM and the distance between the two areas will be approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
PF153 will depart Sukkur at 12: 00 PM and arrive at Islamabad at 1: 20 PM. Both the flights will be flown in Airbus A320 that are often used in domestic and regional flights due to their reliability, seating capacity, and fuel efficiency.
With the deployment of the A320 along this route, AirSial is in a position to carry healthy ratio of the economy and business-class passengers and provide cargo carries of light freights. This would be especially handy to companies which require faster delivery of goods with a time constraint between Islamabad and Sindh.
Boost for Sukkur and Surrounding Regions
Sukkur is among the major urban centres of Sindh which acts as an entry point to other Sindh districts located in the upper region of Sindh. The better air connectivity is likely to assist trade, tourism and administrative travel, as it will become easier to people in the federal capital to pay a visit to the area either to work or personal purposes.
Students, medical patients and families with frequent Islamabad interior Sindh trips would also be beneficiaries of the new service. Reduced traveling time and direct weekly connection can make the traveling easier, particularly to other people who could be dependent on long-distance buses or trains.
Expansion into Abu Dhabi Marks International Growth
AirSial is another company that is enhancing its global presence in addition to domestic growth. Another achievement in its overseas operations is that the airline has affirmed that it would be introducing direct flights to Abu Dhabi starting 1 December.
These additional international flights will be conducted not only in Lahore, but also in Islamabad linking two major cities in Pakistan to the capital of the United Arab Emirates. It is also likely to benefit the high number of Pakistani expatriates who are living and working in the UAE and also business travellers and tourists who travel frequently between the two nations.
The introduction of Abu Dhabi into the international network of AirSial will place the company among other Pakistani airlines operating the Gulf, creating greater competition and possibly more options and competitive rates to passengers.
AirSial’s Growing Role in Pakistan’s Aviation Sector
Ever since entering the market, AirSial has established itself as an expanding private carrier aimed at ensuring better connectivity in Pakistan and to major international destinations. The most recent additions to its routes are evidence of the airline having a strategy of expanding its domestic connections and regional hubs in the Middle East one at a time.
To the passengers, the addition of Islamabad-Sukkur and new Abu Dhabi flights mean to have more options regarding schedules, departure points and fares. To the rest of the aviation industry, it is an indication of a revitalized industry and a new sense of confidence in the industry as airlines react to the increased travel demand after the shocks of the last couple of years.
In case these routes work, AirSial can add more frequencies or flights and, consequently, increase competition and raise service quality in the local and international air travel market in Pakistan.
